Affectionately known as Big John or “BJ”, his influence was and still is extensive worldwide.

Dr. Michael Millis, Dr. Hall’s mentor and friend led the award presentation and others joined in sharing their special memories and fond appreciation for Dr. Hall, their mentor and friend.  The MOA was proud to recognize posthumously his pioneering spirit, outstanding achievements and longstanding commitment to the practice of orthopaedics and the patients he cared for throughout his career.  His orthopaedic colleagues will be forever grateful for his surgical contributions, patient care and warm collegiality.
